Becky Anderson
Speech Language Pathologist
My name is Becky Anderson, and I am proud to be the Speech-Language Pathologist at Glacial Hills Elementary School. Born, raised and educated in Grand Forks, North Dakota, I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech and Language Sciences from the University of North Dakota and a Master of Science in Speech Pathology from Minnesota State University-Moorhead.

At Glacial Hills I work with a variety of students that have difficulty communicating effectively. My work with students focuses on improving the student’s language, articulation, fluency, and voice disorders. I am a certified member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. This is my ninth year at Glacial Hills Elementary School after ten years in Alexandria, Minnesota working in the preschool and elementary school settings.

With a true passion for working with our young learners, my goal is to help each child progress in all areas of their educational and social development. Every day I am honored to work with our students and I welcome the challenges presented by each student’s needs and goals. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures their growth in a positive, fun environment.

Personally, I have three boys who are all in their 20’s. I have loved to watch my boys play sports - baseball, basketball and football – from youth sports up through their college years. Away from school, I also enjoy baking, music, walking, shopping for a deal and spending time with friends and family.

I look forward to working together with you as partners in your child’s growth and development!!

Cheers to a new school year! Becky
