Eaglets Child Care
In the fall of 2023, Glacial Hills Elementary proudly launched our new child care center, designed to support the youngest members of our community. Initially serving children aged 16 months to 33 months, we are dedicated to addressing the growing need for quality child care in our area.

We are currently licensed to accommodate 8 infants and 14 toddlers, and we are actively working to meet the increasing demand for child care services.

If you're interested in securing a spot at our center, please complete the waitlist request form. Upon submission, you'll receive an email with an estimated opening date and detailed information about our program, including our handbook, rates, hours, and policies.

Curriculum
Our child care program proudly uses the Experience Early Learning curriculum for infants and toddlers, designed to nurture caring relationships and foster a sense of security. Through sensory-rich play and exploration, we create an engaging environment where young children can discover the world around them. This hands-on approach not only promotes development but also encourages meaningful interactions, helping our little ones build connections and thrive in their early learning journey.
Meet our Dedicated
Child Care Team
At our center, we believe that a child's early years are the foundation for their future, and our staff is committed to providing the very best care and education. Our team consists of highly skilled and passionate child care teachers who hold the necessary credentials to be licensed at a child care center. They work tirelessly to create a loving, structured, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Each classroom is staffed with two licensed teachers who bring dedication and expertise to their roles. Additionally, we have a float teacher who supports our classrooms, ensuring that each child receives the attention they need throughout the day.

Our staff is guided by a strong leadership team. Dawn Rohloff, our direct assistant, dedicates half of her day teaching 3 to 4-year-olds in the preschool room, and the other half focusing on her assistant director responsibilities. This includes overseeing program cleanliness, ensuring paperwork accuracy, and supporting staff development. Jodee Lund, our center director, provides overall supervision and direction, ensuring that our center's high standards are consistently met.

Our Committment to Excellence!
At Glacial Hills Elementary Child Care Center, we proudly partner with Child Care and Parent Aware to ensure that our families and children receive exceptional care and enriching experiences. We are dedicated to continuous improvement and excellence in early childhood education.

Currently, we are participating in a six-month Building Quality Cohort program. This initiative allows us to work closely with a child care coach and engage in a range of professional development opportunities. Our goal is to enhance our staff’s skills and knowledge, ultimately earning a prestigious four-star rating.
