General Information

The current School Board was established in 2009 and is composed of at least five members, with representation from teachers, parents, and the broader community. Currently, the board consists of eight members: four parents, two teachers, and two community representatives. Teachers serve two-year terms, while parents and community members serve three-year terms.

The School Board meets regularly on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Glacial Hills Elementary boardroom. Below is the list of current board members. For election policies and procedures, please see our Board Bylaws.

Annual Meeting and Board Elections

• Our Annual Meeting for Glacial Hills is just around the corner: April 27th at 6:30pm. Please join us! 

  • What is an Annual Meeting? The Annual Meeting is an opportunity to share a comprehensive update with the Board on the overall health of our school. I present enrollment history and projections, along with our short-term and long-term goals. Teachers also share their experiences at GHES, offering valuable insight into our day-to-day work with students. During this meeting, we also announce the new Board members who will be seated in July.​

• Our School Board Election will be on April 27th from 7:30 - 4:00 pm. The election process is completed electronically. Results will be approved at the board meeting that same night.​
